What Game is GW like?
I hear a lot of things about GW being like WoW. How is it like WoW?
I personally think GW is like Diablo2. 1.Same monster over and over. 2.People judging swords and shields by looks, same with armor 3.Storyline |

it is similar to diablo 2 in one way.. you get a small party together and slay stuff.. thats about it... oh ya and the same mosters over and over, but lets face it, they have been doing that since the days of space invaders...
aside from that i find GW quite uniqe, its like no other game i have ever played... i don't really know what you expect me to say, but ive said all i can think of.. |

It's not like WoW at all.
I think of GW as a game where you really like pvp but also want some pve to get you there. And along the way you can do some pvp in the arenas. And the pvp is more like a contest, where there is a defined winner and loser. That's what I like most. |

I think GW of an online function of a single player RPG. Look at it... you have the pve side with the storyline, and the opportunity to backtrack and do whatever you wish. However, there is still the storyline that most rpg's stay with. But, GW is online, so it throws together a unique PvP system, along with a second party economy.
Basically I view GW as a traditional rpg that is playable via the internet, with the option to progress by yourself or with others. |

hmm i think because of them always messing up good spots to farm or mfing that its hard to make money so thats one big difrence and what you down loaded that hack and used it and now you are into this because they deleted your accont and they jacked up the cd key man that sucked

Reminds me of Runescape and Jedi Knight II. They're somewhat similar. The jedi knight looks and has a very similar feel. You can swap out skills in what areas and walk around, but you're using the controls to not only move but attack and you're using force powers. In Runescape, it's a MMORPG which is kind of similar, except it completely sucks in every aspect compared to guild wars.

It is like Nothing I have ever Seen before. There is no comparison. It is unique.
Then again this is my first true online game. Not counting LAN games. I still think it is spiffy to play. |

Um... No one used items in d2 because of how they looked... What are you talking about?
The closest I can think of would be doing the stat glitch so you looked naked but that also freed up stats for vit so not really doing something purely for a look. |

I definitely have to say that Jedi Knight II for PC is probably the closest thing. You have PVE and PVP, when you unlock things in PVE you get it in PVP and in both cases you have an alotted amount of points to distribute among different attributes. Controls are pretty much the same and you have a certain amount of skills that you can bring along with a max of 10 I think (been ages since I've last played) except the skills and areas were a bit different.
